What If Analysis: Hazard Identification Techniques for Preventing Work Accidents
What-If Analysis is a simply uncomplicated hazard indication method. Its analysis method is highly flexible by brainstorming of analytical team that have good knowledge and experiences for thinking about questions regarding undesirable events that might occur and cause severe incidents or accidents by the asking questions begin with “What If…..?” or “What would happen if…?”. This method can be used for any time and it will get highest benefits if it is used during the design process or improvement of existing systems because all systems will be improved to be more safety at early stage. Furthermore it is also suitable to identify hazards from dynamic activities such as car driving and cleaning etc. What-If Analysis includes 4 steps: establishing cope of questions setting analytical team studying information and related documentation establishing questions and finding effects. Analytical team should include at least landlord design engineer safety officer technician and maintenance technician and if this analysis method is used for only identifying hazard technically and if should beware of overlooking critical problems occurred from many related incidents
A Study of Feasibility in Shockproof Production from Bagasse
Bagasse is a load of waste of caster sugar industry about 20 millions tons per year over 80 percents are used to be fuel and raw materials for the other industries. Anyhow much more bagasse is abundant. Then attention in textile industry application. Because of biodegradable and environment friendly. This research was studied about fiber separation and shockproof production from the bagasse. Fiber separation by chemical process. There are variable in amount of sodium hydroxide boiling time and produced to web by field latex 100 percents at 100 degree celsius. Physical properties of web such as thickness weight per unit area bursting and tearing strength was estimated. The appropriate condition for fiber separation as follows : sodium hydroxide 180 g/l for 2 hours. Average thickness is 2.83-2.90 millimeter. Average weight per unit area is 0.57 g/in2. Average bursting and tearing strength are 371.1 N and 756 mN respectively. The web is suitable for shockproof production
The Way for the Development of Educational Management of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon
The objective of this research was to finf the way for the development of educational management of Rajamangala Uaiversity of Technology Phra Nakhon by 1) studying input factoes:studentsinstructorsand teaching-learning facilitators 2) comparing learning achievemant of students classified by genderkind of former school curriculum of studyfield of studyformer certification hometownand enrollment system 3) studying the relationships between grade point average (GPA) of Business Administration Faculty before and after studying at the faculty and 4) comparing learning achievement of students who did and not study basic English and Mathematics. The sample studied were 1) all 10]349 students who enrolled in the academic year of 2009 and 2) 2440 students studying in the academic year 2010 selected by purposive sampling. The data was collected through questionnaires constructed by researcher. The statistics used for data Coefficientone way analysis of varianceand Schffes multiple comparison method.
Analysis of Stress Concentration That Occurs in the Reform with Finite Element Method
This research analyzes the concentration of stress that occurs in the reform by a finite element method. The reform looks like C-clamp used in the compression rear axial drive’s flange. SolidWorks and Cosmos programs are used for modeling and analysis respectively. The comparative results between actual tests and finite element method had error 8.1%. It is concluded that the model of finite element method can be used in this problem’s analysis. Analyses adjust pressure at 230 270 300 350 380 bars. It is found that stress concentration at the neck is 227 265 289 354 382 MPa. The safety factors of the neck are 2.3 2.0 1.8 1.5 1.38 respectively. Stress concentration will be direct variation with reduced pressure. If increasing radius of curvature is not fixed at the neck it can reduce the stress concentration.
